Voluntary Student Union Bill Expected To Pass Tonight
Following Question Time and the General Debate, Parliament will move to Private, Local and Members’ Bills.
It is expected the House will deal with the Royal Society of New Zealand Amendment Bill quickly and the Southland District Council (Stewart Island/Rakiura Visitor Levy) Empowering Bill has been postponed.
Next on the Order Paper is the third reading of the Education (Freedom of Association) Amendment Bill.
Proceedings will be interrupted at 5.30 for the valedictory speeches of Mita Ririnui and Keith Locke.
