Chauvel congratulates Safety in the City Awards
Labour List MP based in Ohariu Charles Chauvel is proud to congratulate the recipients of the Wellington Safety in the City awards, announced last night by the Wellington City Council and New Zealand Police.
“The people recognised last night are all worthy recipients and reflect only a small fraction of the contributions that people across Wellington make every day in order to create a safer place to live", said Chauvel.
Seventeen awards were presented to individuals across Wellington including people residing within Ohariu, where Mr Chauvel is based.
“All of this year’s recipients serve as an inspiration for us all to be better neighbours and members of our local community”.
