Electoral Administration Reform Debated
The Subordinate Legislation (Confirmation and Validation) Bill (No 3) passed its first reading by 111 to 10 with the Greens and Chris Carter opposing.
The bill was sent to the Regulations Review Committee for consideration to report back before September 12.
MPs began the second reading debate on the Electoral (Administration) Amendment Bill (No 2).
