Members’ Day
Today is Member’s Day in Parliament and the first bill on the Order Paper is the third reading of the Westpac New Zealand Bill.
Following this MPs will return to the committee stage of the Royal Society of New Zealand Amendment Bill.
Labour MPs have publicly stated they will continue to slow progress on this bill as they strongly oppose the Education (Freedom of Association) Amendment Bill, which is currently in its committee stage.
