House Passes More Financial Market Regulation
The Arms (Military Style Semi-Automatic Firearms and Import Controls) Amendment Bill completed its first reading stage and was referred to the Law and Order Committee for consideration on a voice vote.
The House rose shortly before 10pm after completing the third reading debate of the Auditor Regulation Bill and the Financial Reporting Amendment Bill on a voice vote. The two bills were formerly part of the Auditor Regulation and External Reporting Bill.
