TVNZ Charter Removal Bill Debated
Following Question Time, the Dairy Industry Restructuring (New Sunset Provisions) Amendment Bill passed its second reading stage by 107 to 15 with the Greens, Maori Party, Hone Harawira and Chris Carter opposing.
MPs began the second reading debate on the Television New Zealand Amendment Bill which replaces TVNZ’s charter with a different set of governing functions
