New MP Sworn In
When Parliament resumed at 2pm Kris Faafoi was sworn in as an MP following his victory in the Mana by-election.
Opposition Leader Phil Goff moved a notice without debate that the House note with sadness the death of a New Zealander serving with the British Army in Afghanistan.
It was passed on a voice vote.
A petition was presented calling for the Holidays Act to be amended to stop commercial activity on Anzac Day.
