Labour announces Manurewa & Te Atatu selection dates
Labour has confirmed that the Manurewa selection will be held at 2pm, Sunday 12 December, Manurewa Netball Court Hall, corner Browns Road & Dalgety Drive, Manurewa.
Nominations for the Manurewa selection closed on 15 October 2010.
The seven nominees are:
• Ashraf Choudhary, List MP;
• Ian Dunwoodie, local lawyer;
• Jerome Mika, union lead organiser
• Amelia Schaaf, local lawyer;
• Shane Te Pou, human resources manager;
• Raj Thandi, company director;
• Louisa Wall, policy advisor.
Labour has also confirmed that the Te Atatu selection will be held at 11am, Saturday 18 December at Te Atatu Community Centre, 595 Te Atatu Road.
Nominations for the Te Atatu selection closed on 8 October 2010.
The eight nominees are:
• Nick Bakulich, small business owner;
• Jim Bradshaw, law student;
• Dr Michael Kidd, barrister;
• Hamish McCracken, university lecturer;
• Ann Pala QSM, community advocate;
• Dr Rajen Prasad, List MP;
• Kate Sutton, communications consultant;
• Phil Twyford, List MP.
