The first item of parliamentary business after question time today is expected to be the committee stage of the Rugby World Cup 2011 (Empowering) Bill.
Other bills high on the Order Paper include the first reading of the Taxation (International Investment and Remedial Matters) Bill and the third reading of the Governor-General Bill.
Tomorrow night is members’ night and the Government has indicated the House will sit under Urgency next week to make progress on bills on the Order Paper.
