Prisoners’ Voting And Student Unions To Be Debated
In Parliament today MPs are set to debate two controversial bills.
Following Question Time, the General Debate and one private bill (Christ’s College (Canterbury) Amendment Bill), members bills are on top of the Order Paper.
First up for a second reading debate is National MP Paul Quinn’s Electoral (Disqualification of Convicted Prisoners)Amendment Bill and this will be followed by ACT MP Heather Roy’s Education (Freedom of Association) Amendment Bill.
