Questions to Ministers

1. Dr KENNEDY GRAHAM to the Minister of Energy and Resources: What phased milestones does he have, if any, to achieve his aspirational goal of 90 percent electricity generation from renewable sources by 2025, as stated in his draft energy strategy?

2. Hon PHIL GOFF to the Prime Minister: When he said New Zealand would catch up with Australia, has National since it became Government narrowed or widened the gap in average weekly earnings and levels of employment?

3. CRAIG FOSS to the Minister of Finance: How is the Government making progress with its plan to deliver better frontline public services and ensure better value for money for taxpayers?

4. Hon ANNETTE KING to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: Does she stand by her June 2009 statement that stopping “the heinous and incomprehensible abuse of New Zealand’s children” is a priority?

5. DAVID GARRETT to the Attorney-General: Will he commit to prohibiting Māori owners from charging other New Zealanders for access to beaches; if not, will he at least limit the amount they can charge to $5, the fee currently charged by the Māori owners of Takou Bay in Northland?
