Amendement to Directions for children's travel

amendement to Speaker's Directions for children's under five travel


The Speaker has amended the Speaker’s Directions to reflect the current practice of reimbursing travel expenses for the children under five years of age. The change is cost neutral.
The change is effective from today 10 May 2010.

These documents amend the Speaker’s Directions to allow a member’s child aged under 5 to travel on any scheduled air, rail, ferry and non-urban bus services in New Zealand, provided the child is accompanied by the member or the member’s spouse or partner.
