Flag burning incident in Parliament’s grounds
The Parliamentary Service can confirm that two people staging an unauthorised protest on the grounds of Parliament at 1307 today set fire to a New Zealand flag which had been doused with an accelerant.
Parliament Security has advised Police are in the process of investigating the incident.
