Power leaves for talks in Singapore and Malaysia
State Owned Enterprises, Commerce, and Associate Finance Minister Simon Power leaves today to attend four days of meetings in Singapore and Malaysia.
In Singapore he will attend bilateral meetings with the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Trade and Industry, and will meet representatives of the Singapore Stock Exchange and the finance sector, Temasek and related companies, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
He will also address a meeting of the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, and will appear on CNBC Asia Squawk Box on Wednesday 28 October at 7.40am (local time).
In Malaysia, he will attend bilateral meetings with the Minister of Finance, and with the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, as well as meet representatives of Khazanah Nasional Berhad and related companies.
