Questions to Ministers


1. Hon PHIL GOFF to the Minister of Finance: Does he stand by the statement in the Minister of Finance’s Budget speech that “Protecting the most vulnerable is a priority”; if so, why?

2. AMY ADAMS to the Minister of Finance: What reports, if any, has he received on imbalances in the New Zealand economy?

3. Hon RUTH DYSON to the Minister of Health: Does he stand by his statement that “we are living through a time of serious financial pressure both internationally and domestically”?

4. NICKY WAGNER to the Minister for the Environment: What action has he taken in respect of the National Environment Standards on air quality in response to concerns raised at the Job Summit?

5. Hon MARYAN STREET to the Minister for Tertiary Education: How does she expect cuts in Adult and Community Education to “…ensure that New Zealand is positioned to take advantage of the economic recovery as it happens” as she has stated previously about the Government’s aim in Vote Education?
