Questions to Ministers
1. CRAIG FOSS to the
Minister of Finance: Has he seen any recent reports relating
to the Public Finance Act 1989?
2. JEANETTE FITZSIMONS to the Prime Minister: Did he discuss with Kevin Rudd the report from Australian Treasury, entitled ‘Australia’s Low Pollution Future: the Economics of Climate Change Mitigation’ that says “economies that defer action face higher long-term costs, as global investment is redirected to early movers”; and if so, what implications does he see for New Zealand?
3. Hon PHIL GOFF to the Prime Minister: Does he stand by his response last week, when asked whether the next two rounds of tax cuts legislated for last year will go ahead, “We live in dynamic times but I wouldn’t jump to conclusions on that. It is my expectation they will go ahead.”?
4. DAVID BENNETT to the Prime Minister: What were the objectives of the Prime Minister’s recent Job Summit and is he satisfied that it was a successful event?
