NZ Acting High Commissioner Expelled
Honorable Murray McCully
Minister of Foreign Affairs
This unfortunate diplomatic situation resulted because of the bullying tactics, arrogance, disconnected, condescending and failed international and economic policies of the previous New Zealand government.
No wonder we are in an economic and political mess and we need to clean it up.
The present New Zealand government came into power promising fresh ideas, fresh leadership and brighter future.
We therefore strongly urge you and your government to please look at the Fiji situation with fresh perspectives and not follow the belligerent and failed policies of your predecessor.
It is important that the New Zealand & Fijian governments work together so that the people of Fiji can move forward and prosper.
Fiji is such a beautiful country with friendly people and we everyday New Zealanders are very, very, very keen to see our neighbor Fiji have a brighter future as we desire for ourselves, our country and our families.
New Zealand and Fiji has a very long historical relationship that is mutually beneficial both economically and socially and our fresh look leadership ought to continue in that tradition for the greater good of all.
Faithfully yours
