Ryall overeggs conspiracy pudding
Health Minister David Cunliffe says National’s Tony Ryall is again grasping at straws in his outrageous claim that the government has somehow hidden the submission from the northern District Health Boards to the National Capital Committee.
“I made it clear in my statement to the New Zealand Herald yesterday that I have not received the submission and have not been briefed on its contents.”
“So it stands to reason that if I haven’t seen this document then how can I possibly have hidden it,” said Mr Cunliffe.
“My understanding is that this is a short excerpt from a complicated submission which I expect to see in the next day.”
“Its a fact that only Mr Ryall has a track record of attempting to muzzle DHBs .He should be more careful before projecting his own motives on to this Minister.”
