Greens worried campaign is taking its toll on PM
The Green Party is concerned that the stress of the election campaign may be causing the Prime Minister's memory to fail her. The Prime Minister issued a press release today claiming credit for a $1B home insulation scheme saying: "Labour is expanding the retrofitting of New Zealand homes to make them warmer, drier, and healthier through a $1 billion programme over fifteen years."

Co-Leader Jeanette Fitzsimons says she is concerned that
Helen Clark apparently cannot remember back just a few short
months when the Green Party conducted long and intense
negotiations to secure the $1 billion Green Homes Fund
during the negotiations over the Emissions Trading Scheme.
"It appears the Prime Minister's memory is failing her, because surely she would not be taking the credit for another party's work and ideas? We suggest she take a few weeks off the campaign to put her feet up and give her memory time to recover."
