Brunch Back in Fashion
Following the tradition of grand European hotels, The Langham Auckland has begun Sunday Brunch.
The weekly custom is open to everyone (not just hotel guests) and is available each Sunday from 6.00am –2.30pm.
‘We’ve noticed a strong trend throughout Europe where the tradition of taking a Sunday brunch with friends and family has excelled in popularity,” said executive chef Ofir Yudilevich.
“Looking in our own local market we saw the success of the Chinese yum cha brunch equivalent however we found the traditional European style Sunday brunch was an untapped market so decided we’d be the ones to welcome it back,” he continued.
Sunday brunch is served buffet style from The Langham’s SBF Brasserie. Guests can choose from over 30 dishes including eggs cooked to order, homestyle bacon, pancakes, salmon, pastries, fresh fruit and juice along with brewed coffee.
The all-inclusive meal is $37 per adult. Children under 12 dine half price and children under 5 dine free.
Reservations are recommended and can be made by phoning 0800 61 62 61.
