National Party Leader Don Brash today paid tribute to the Hon John Falloon, a man who made "a tremendous contribution to the development of the New Zealand economy".
"Mr Falloon had a remarkable career in politics, spanning almost 20 years and covering a range of portfolio areas."
He held portfolios under both Rob Muldoon and Jim Bolger, and was Minister of Agriculture from 1990 to 1996.
"On behalf of the National Party, I extend my heartfelt sympathies to Mr Falloon's wife, Philippa, his children and extended family," says Dr Brash.
