Peters perched on fence - again
National Party Leader Don Brash says those expecting Winston Peters to make clear his post-election preferences will be sadly disappointed.
"All of a sudden nothing happened. New Zealanders are none the wiser as to whether Winston Peters supports tax cuts or an expansion of welfare.
"The message that New Zealanders can take from Mr Peters' announcement today is that if they want a more successful country, where 85% of workers are paying 19% tax or less, and if they want better rewards and incentives, then they have to give their party vote to the National Party," says Dr Brash.
