Whoops, another deadline missed
National’s statement today that they will not be revealing the details of their tax cuts until next week brings to three the number of promises they have broken in relation to the timing of their tax policy announcement,” Finance Minister Michael Cullen said.
“First it was going to be soon after the budget, then soon after the Prime Minister called the election, then voters were told they would have at least a month to analyse what National was offering.
“They have now missed that deadline too. Doesn’t inspire much confidence in their ability to keep their word, does it,” Dr Cullen said.
