NCEA Report Predictable Says NZ First
“The State Services Commission report into NCEA is totally predictable,” says NZ First education spokesperson, Brian Donnelly.
“Anyone who had had any dealings NZQA and the Ministry of Education over NCEA will have realized that there was a lack of intellectual rigour which led to confused and unclear communication.
“The potential for multiple interpretations of imprecise communication was obvious for all to see. I have been pointing this out to the Minister in my speeches in the House. It is unfortunate that he did not listen sooner.
“The situation has led to considerable mischief being created by the National spokesperson, Bill English, which has undermined public credibility in the NCEA.
“The mess created by the two old parties, both Labour and National will require a major clean up exercise. Our qualification system is too important to muck it up again,” said Mr Donnelly.
