United Future plans for 2005
United Future will hold a two-day caucus meeting in Upper Hutt tomorrow and Thursday to finalise policy and plan strategy for this election year.
Party leader Peter Dunne, in speeches earlier this month, has already made it clear that family-friendly policies will be the centrepiece of the party’s focus this election.
“All our policies,” he said “from student loans, through income and taxes, to healthcare and looking after the elderly are aimed at making New Zealand families stronger and more prosperous.
“Already, New Zealanders are seeing the economic and social benefits of stable government that United Future has helped provide and we want to ensure that continues after the 2005 election,” said Mr Dunne.
