Don Brash delighted with Mark Blumsky selection

National Party Leader Don Brash says he is delighted with the selection of Mark Blumsky as the National candidate for Wellington Central at the 2005 general election.

"We know that Mark will provide a strong National voice for Wellington in Parliament. I'm delighted that candidates with pedigrees like Mark's are so keen to help promote National's vision for a more prosperous New Zealand.

"Mark's local knowledge is second to none.

"As a popular former mayor, he knows and understands the issues affecting Wellington. We think he will be the obvious choice for voters in the capital who want to see their city grow, both culturally and economically.

"We're delighted to have Mark on board for the campaign, and we look forward to him joining us in Parliament next year," says Dr Brash.
