Agent Orange - New Zealand First Minority Report
New Zealand First recommends that an apology be issued to all Vietnam war veterans for the failure of successive governments to acknowledge sooner that they were indeed subjected to Agent Orange and other defoliant aerial spraying. The fact that there was sufficient evidence of this spraying that could have been drawn on, has prevented an earlier recognition of this issue.
We further recommend that some form of compensation be considered, as has been recognised by other nations who participated in that conflict.
