Margaret Wilson's leave has been extended.
Following minor surgery in July, the minister suffered a fall resulting in an impact fracture. She is undergoing restorative surgery today.
Margaret Wilson will continue her ministerial duties from Tauranga, with other ministers carrying out parliamentary duties and attending public engagements on her behalf. She is expected to return to Parliament within a month.
