Hide’s “responsible” makeover vanishes
Mr Rodney Hide, with his usual lack of concern for natural justice and accuracy, has used a leaked internal report from Tainui to make definitive statements about unproven allegations of double dipping regarding contracts with Corrections.
Mr Hide should note that the report commissioned by Tukuroirangi Morgan,
co-chair of Tainui, is under legal challenge.
“It seems that Mr Hide’s supposed make-over as a responsible party leader has lasted only long enough to shout ‘Fire’ about the latest unproven allegation.
“The country had hoped that the new Act leader would change his spots. But it seems he is incapable of acknowledging the good done by projects that are reducing criminal reoffending,” said the Progressive MP.
