Impressive results in NZ Music Month quiz
The results are in, and Marian Hobbs (Labour) and Jim Peters (NZ First) have won Judith Tizard’s 2004 New Zealand Music Month quiz.
Ms Hobbs and Mr Peters both scored 19 ½ out of the 20-question quiz, while 90% of MPs who answered scored above 17.
“All MPs this year admitted to seeking help from staff or family and friends, but whether they already knew the answers, asked around or did the research, I am delighted my colleagues took such an interest in wanting to get the answers right.”
“The point of the exercise what to get people thinking about the great range of music on offer in this country during New Zealand Music Month. The results show a greater awareness this year than last, and that means the New Zealand Music Commission is doing their job promoting New Zealand music.”
“I congratulate all who entered and I hope they enjoyed finding out more about the wonderful New Zealand music that surrounds us.”
“I thank all the members of the public who also contacted my office for a copy of the NZ Music Month Quiz”. Judith Tizard said.
