New Employment Relations Authority members

Aucklander Leon Robinson and Vicki Campbell of Hamilton have been appointed to the Employment Relations Authority in Auckland for three-year terms, Labour Minister Margaret Wilson announced today.

Leon Robinson, 33, is currently a Senior Solicitor with Haigh Lyon Barristers & Solicitors in Auckland. He has practised a range of litigation including criminal law, family law, civil litigation and Maori land law. He also has extensive experience in the field of employment law, and has appeared before the Employment Tribunal, Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court.

Vicki Campbell is currently the leader of the Employment Relations Team with Beattie Rickman Chartered Accountants in Hamilton. Before taking on this role she was with the Employers and Manufacturers Association for nine years, and was Waikato Regional Manager during 1999-2000.

The 44-year-old has significant experience in the employment relations field including the negotiation and implementation of Collective and Individual Employment Agreements, development and implementation of performance management systems, and general consultancy work.

The New Zealand Council of Trade Unions and Business New Zealand were consulted and agreed to the recommendation of these candidates, Margaret Wilson said.
