1. Dr DON BRASH to the Minister of Labour: Does she stand by her statement in relation to the Employment Relations Law Reform Bill introduced last week, "The approach remains one of free choice, flexibility and fairness to all, to reflect the diversity of workplace arrangements in the labour market and to support a more innovative economy."; if so, why?

2. MARK PECK to the Minister of Revenue: What recent reports has he received on business reaction to compliance costs?

Hon KEN SHIRLEY to the Prime Minister: What plans, if any, has the Government developed to counter threatened protests by Maori foreshore and seabed claimants, and can she assure New Zealanders that law and order agencies will not allow these claimants to disrupt or interfere with the public's normal access to and enjoyment of our beaches and foreshore over the coming holiday season?
