ACT New Zealand Acting Leader Ken Shirley today said he was pleased to see that New Zealand First Leader Winston Peters has finally adopted ACT's policies.
"The ACT Party has campaigned consistently for a smaller Parliament, and it was ACT who provided the momentum behind Mrs Margaret Robinson's Citizens Initiated Referendum in 1999.
"We look forward to Mr Peters and New Zealand First joining the Centre-Right on other policies promoting a prosperous, free, tolerant and multi-cultural society," Mr Shirley said.
