Jim thanks Nandor for coming to Wigram - asks Nandor to organize public debate in Ohariu-Belmont

Progressive Party leader, Jim Anderton, today thanked Green MP Nandor Tanczos for being his guest at a public debate on the important issue of drug abuse and cannabis law reform in Wigram last night.

"I believe the debate was very important because it is one that New Zealand as a whole must have. If 240 people are prepared to come out on a working week evening to participate in Christchurch, then no doubt there are thousands of people around the country interested in this issue.

"It would be wrong if the good people of Ohariu-Belmont did not have the opportunity to participate in a similar open discussion and I hope Nandor can organize a second public meeting for us there," Jim Anderton said.
