Design Taskforce - Government Response;
Young Designers Awards
Jim Anderton MP, Minister of Economic Development will present the government response to the Design Taskforce Report Success by Design at the Young Designer Awards on Thursday in Christchurch - outlining the key findings of the Taskforce, and proposing a number of actions for the Government response, including funding.
He will also present the awards for the Young Designers, celebrating design in fashion, build environment, communication, electronics, landscape, product and visual design.
The young designers' work will be on display in the Christchurch Art Gallery before the award ceremony.
