O’Connor welcomes move
Associate Health Minister Damien O’Connor says he welcomes the decision by the Ministry of Health to seek State Services Commission advice in a review of its current contracts with NGOs advocating non-smoking activities.
“I have been advised such contracts have been in place for a decade, when they were devised by a Crown entity, but it is important that they should be reviewed to ensure the funding is appropriate. I will await the outcome of the review with interest.”
