Medicinal Cannabis Survey of Registered Doctors
Media conference to announce results
The Green Party will be announcing the results of a nationwide survey of registered doctors' views on the medicinal use of cannabis at 1pm, Thursday, October 2.
The Green Party surveyed 500 doctors randomly selected from the Medical Council Register. Copies of the survey will be available at the media conference. To our knowledge, no survey of this kind has been carried out in New Zealand previously.
Green MP Nandor Tanczos, the spokesperson for Drug Law Reform, will be joined by Greg Soar, co-ordinator for patient support group GreenCross, in presenting the results in the Green Party Caucus Room, Level 14, Bowen House, Parliament.
