Media Advisory: electricity supply security announcement noon tomorrow
The Government's preferred policy for improving electricity supply security will be announced at noon tomorrow in the Beehive Theatrette. Finance Minister Michael Cullen, who chairs the infrastructure group of ministers, and Energy Minister Pete Hodgson will present the Government's proposals for managing the risk of disruption to electricity supply in very dry years.
