Tribute to Dalvanius Prime
ACT MP Donna Awatere Huata today paid tribute to Dalvanius Prime who has passed away.
"On many times in my life, my journey has crossed with that of Dalvanius. I will sorely miss him.
"Dalvanius had a huge impact on New Zealand. I think the main reason for that was the sincere passion he had for every single endeavour he undertook.
"Dalvanius was the first person to make Maori performing arts accessible to every New Zealander, and for that we all owe him a great debt. He crossed a boundary that had never before been traversed.
"New Zealand has today lost a true star, and an outstanding New Zealander," Mrs Awatere Huata said.
