English supports Warriors
Bill English - National Leader
National Leader Bill English says he is delighted to be going to Sydney to support the Warriors in the NRL Premiership Grand Final match this Sunday.
Mr English has been invited as a guest of the NRL.
“I have a huge amount of respect for the Warriors’ achievements and want to get behind them for the big match just like the rest of New Zealand.
“Their rise from the bottom of the table only a couple of years ago is a reflection of their true kiwi commitment, grit and flair, often against the odds.
“I wish them all the best for the big match, where I know they will put us all on the edge of our seats again,” Mr English said.
