United must answer Electoral Commission
United must come clean on why Electoral Commission chief executive, Paul Harris, has still not received confirmation that it has the 500 members required by law for the party to be registered, says National MP Tony Ryall.
"United has a statutory requirement to prove it has 500 members, something which has been overdue since April, and it would seem that there's a point of dispute between the Commission and United.
"This is an extremely untidy state for any party to be in, especially one which is about to sign an agreement with the Government. I look forward to hearing Peter Dunne's reasons for ignoring the Electoral Commission's requests," says Tony Ryall.
