Bye Bye Act
The fiasco over the announcement of the Act Party list is further evidence that the party is in meltdown, Labour MP Pete Hodgson said today.
“There’s clearly trouble in the ranks and there’s no sign that Act is going to get its act together at any time soon,” Pete Hodgson said.
His comments follow delays to the announcement of the Act Party list after days of reported infighting over the placement of MPs on the list.
“The excuse of delaying the release of the list to avoid the Labour and National Party launches does not stack given that the timing for those was announced weeks ago.
“The good news today is that voters will have a clear understanding that a vote for Act is a wasted one,” Pete Hodgson said.
