ACT Finance Spokesman MP Rodney Hide said today that Epsom voters overwhelmingly support tougher sentencing, taxes lower than Australia, and one law for all New Zealanders.
"The only way to ensure Truth in Sentencing, a tax cut for every worker, and an end to the Treaty grievance industry, is for Epsom voters to give their party vote to ACT.
"I will this election be asking Epsom voters - and voters nationwide - to give their party vote to ACT.
"It's crucial that ACT do well in the party vote nationwide to hold Government to account.
"I know the National party is very pleased that I am campaigning for the party vote only. Epsom voters are very supportive of ACT and were very kind to me at the last election.
"The National MP's majority was slashed from 20,000 to under 2,000. It's a centre-right seat, but not necessarily a National seat.
"I will be on the ballot for Epsom. I will be asking the voters of Epsom to support me and ACT New Zealand by giving their party vote to ACT," Mr Hide said.
