Greens Are Not Being Honest

“The Green party is being deliberately dishonest about the GE issue,” claims NZ First spokesperson, Brian Donnelly.
“It is absolutely incorrect that lifting the moratorium on applications for commercial release will let GE out of the lab. It’s already out and has been for some years.”
“There is no moratorium on GE field trials to lift and the Greens should come clean on this point. While they are doing so they should explain to the public why they voted for the current legislation all the way through the process and then grandstanded at the end.
“The Greens did not even put up an amendment to make the moratorium indefinite.”
“If the Greens want people to believe they are a principled party, perhaps they should start by being honest,” said Brian Donnelly.
