Appointment Of Master Of The High Court

The Attorney-General Hon Margaret Wilson today announced the appointment of Hannah Sargisson as a Master of the High Court.
Ms Sargisson graduated from Auckland University and has been a partner in Brookfields for 20 years.
She was chair of the Equal Opportunities Tribunal between 1984 and 1989.
Ms Sargisson held office as President of the Auckland District Law Society between 2000 and 2001, and is an immediate past Vice-President of the New Zealand Law Society.
The new Master will sit in Auckland where she will deal with pre trial, company and insolvency matters.
Ms Sargisson takes up her appointment on June 24.
