Paul Swain at West Coast E-Commerce Event
Information Technology Minister Paul Swain is attending the West Coast E-Commerce Event in Greymouth this week.
The event is being held at the Quality Kings Hotel in Greymouth and marks the anniversary of the first E-Commerce Summit held by the government in Auckland last year.
Paul Swain will be presenting a progress report on the E-Commerce Strategy that was presented in Auckland a year ago.
The Greymouth event will be attended by some of the key people who attended the Auckland event including CEO of Southfresh – and one of New Zealand’s e-commerce pioneers Toby Warren, Deputy chair of the E-Commerce Action Team and E-Commerce Business Consultant Catherine Calarco and Bryan Hawkins of the NZ Bankers Association.
The West Coast E-Commerce Event will feature practical presentations about the benefits of e-commerce, opportunities for attendees to network with business leaders and e-commerce strategies that can be adapted for local business.
