Apology accepted, matter closed
The Associate Minister of Justice, Margaret Wilson says she has been briefed by the Chief Human Rights Commissioner on the exchanges between Ms Ella Henry and the Police, originating with a traffic infringement.
Margaret Wilson says she considers Ms Henry acted foolishly.
"I understand she has apologised and that the apology has been accepted by the Police who consider the matter closed.
"Therefore, I also consider the matter closed".
