Health Minister Annette King has publicly released three more Cabinet papers providing more details about the establishment of District Health Boards.
The three papers are titled Consultation Framework for District Health Boards, Sanctions and Rewards for District Health Boards, and Transitional Accountability Arrangements for District Health Boards.
Mrs King said the three papers would increase public understanding of the way DHBs would operate following the passing of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Bill later this year.
"The release of the papers reflects the Government's intention that the new public health service should be as open and accountable as possible."
The three papers are available on the Minister's website, www.executive.govt.nz/minister/king
