Advisory: Release of the initial TEAC report

Release of the initial Tertiary Education Advisory Commission report

The initial report of the Tertiary Education Advisory Commission, Shaping A Shared Vision, will be publicly released on Thursday (August 3) at 10.30am.

Associate Education (Tertiary Education) Minister Steve Maharey will be discussing the report during a breakfast speech to Auckland University of Technology staff. Following the Minister's address he will invite questions from the staff of the university attending. Media are welcome to attend the speech and breakfast will be available if desired.

Time: 7-8.15am (Minister to begin speaking at 7.30am)
Location: The Hub, Level One, Hikuwai Plaza (behind Te Ara Poutama),
Auckland University of Technology, Wellesley Street, Auckland

The report will be publicly released by the Chair of the Tertiary Education Advisory Commission, Dr Norman Kingsbury, at the Commission's premises in Wellington. Dr Kingsbury will brief media on the report and take questions.

Time: 10.30am
