2. CHINA - A court in China has handed down jail sentences for people declared as following a cult.
3. HIJACK - The ruling Taliban in Afghanistan say they will not hurry along a hijacked plane landed on one of their airports.
4. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - A South Auckland women's refuge has launched a campaign to cut down on domestic violence.
5. BABY IN FLIGHT - A premature baby was born in flight as her mother was being taken to Wellington Hospital.
6. RACE - In yachting an Australian and a Danish yacht are ahead in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race.
